UFC 137 & Internet Marketing
UFC 137 and Internet Marketing
Hey guys,
So I know this is a primary Internet Marketing blog but I am watching UFC 137 live at the moment and just thought I would write up a quick blog post.
For those of you who don’t know I am a big UFC fan and one of the exciting things about moving to Las Vegas was the opportunity to go see some UFC PPV’s live.
Haven’t done it yet as I have only been here for a few weeks and been busy organizing everything but am definitely going to hit up some events soon.
On that note if anyone is interested in joining me feel free to get in touch and we will have a blast!
So watching UFC 137 which is in Vegas at the Mandalay Bay and just watching a few of the fights kind of gets you inspired and motivated to see these guys bust their ass for months in preparation and then “leave it all out there” in the cage.
It’s a great example of how powerful the mindset is and how important.
Fun fact: I am a qualified person trainer
Physical training is a lot like success in business (yes I am going to attempt to relate UFC 137 to Internet Marketing ha!) but it’s a really simple example about how powerful goal setting is.
I’m watching these fights and you see each individual fighters motivations and goals. Some guys are making their debut at UFC 137 so their short term goal would be to get a win, infact I am guessing every guy fighting at UFC 137 has the short term goal of getting a win. But the guys who made their debut would be desperatly wanting to win to leave a good first impression and hopefully book another date with UFC.
But my point is all these guys have motivations and goals. Mirko Crocop had his final fight tonight so his goal would of been to win and leave UFC 137 and his career as a winner.
Big Country Roy Nelson also fought at UFC 137 and after the fight he said he wants to fight for the title, so his goal is to become champion.
So how does UFC 137 relate to your business?
You need to have goals and motivations.
When I first started my goal was to just make enough money to not have to have a 9-5 job. Once you achieve that your goals grow.
I believe it’s important to have both short term and long term goals.
Long term goal might be to have a successful 6-7 figure online business. However your short term goal might be to get your first website online or your first product complete.
It’s important to have a long term vision but you need to know that you NEED to do the work to get there. Have short term goals that lead to your overall long term goal.
So while I was sitting back with a beer watching UFC 137 I just thought I would make this quick post.
Anyway back to it
